Welcome, visitor!
I would like to get straight to the post,
but I feel you must know a few things first.
Daddy and, on occasion, Momma took all of the pictures shown on this blog.
(Unless otherwise marked, of course.)
This blog was inspired by one of my teachers.
Cowtown is what you might call "fun-sized",
and that is just the way I like it.
Posts will be varied and follow no particular theme.
No profanity will be used on this blog, so you might say that it is "kid safe".
Any other information needing to be supplied has slipped my mind,
and will be brought to the forefront if thought of.
This is the Cowtown Elevator.
It stands on the edge of Cowtown.
I think that the Cowtown Sunsets are perfectly lovely.
Sunsets are one of those things that couldn't be enjoyed any more even
if you had ropes of diamonds around your neck. In fact, it's beauty might
even bemore appreciated by one in rags than one in silk.
Every day I am in wonder of the beauty of God's creation.
In a way, you see miracles happening all around you every day.
You just have to keep your eyes open to them.
Have you ever noticed how much God pays attention to even the smallest of details?
Cowtown sometimes gets lots of rain in the summer.
Just the same, though, some summers can be rather dry.
I like rainy days. I don't know what I find so fascinating in the ominous gray clouds and gloomy appearance of the world. Maybe it's just the unconscious appreciation of all of the beauty of God's creation, and not just the cheerful, sunny side of it. Just look at that rainbow!! I can't but help think of the eternal promise God made to Noah which a rainbow signifies. Isn't it amazing how many promises he can keep without fail, while we struggle to keep but one unimportant promise?
P.S. Depending on my mood, the posts could be funny or serious or even profound. Therefore, don't be in despair of a constantly serious girl. Who knows, perhaps I might even make you laugh.

Oh, Gracie, you have already made me laugh! "Fun-sized" is how I will think of Cowtown from now on! And the pictures are awesome!
ReplyDeleteGrace, your beautiful prose (and daddy's pictures) gave me goosebumps! I hope that you write more often!
